Concept Security & Investigations

New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) residents trained in security.

Since 2005, Concept Security Training Institute has prepared students to be officers, not “guards.” Courses are taught by licensed instructors with years of experience in the security industry. Our chief Instructor and school director has over 15 years as a licensed security guard instructor and has taught security classes for clients such as Goodwill Industries and New York Works. Through Concept Security Training Institute , a church security curriculum was created and taught to members of a church security team. The following classes are offered through CSTI :

• 8 Hour Pre-Assignment Course
• 16 Hour OJT
• 8 Hour Annual-In-Service
• Fire Guard Preparatory course
• Church Security Training
• Through the Concept Security Training Institute students are prepared for security jobs and careers.

They also receive advice/counseling on advanced education, advancement opportunities, law enforcement careers and licensing that includes the preparation of paperwork at no extra cost.

Under the church security training, security team members learn the difference and similarities between security detail in the religious institution and those of outside.  Topics also include coordination with senior leadership and other ministries are discussed just to name a few.
